Robin Kelly easily wins the Democratic nomination in the 2nd Congressional District special election primary to replace the disgraced Jesse Jackson, Jr. Kelly was the leading gun control advocate and was aided with millions by the Mayor Bloomberg super PAC.
Kelly’s Republican challenger is still undecided with Paul McKinley leading Eric Wallace by just over 20 votes with 95% of the votes counted. It appears the GOP may have to wait until all the absentee and vote by mail ballots are counted.
