Driver’s license law makes no sense

As a conservative Republican, being labeled a racist is in the cards if I dare express negative thoughts against illegal immigrants and those who support giving benefits to them. I therefore cringed when it was announced that Illinois may soon become the fifth and most populous state to grant driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants. States permitting illegal immigrants to drive are Washington state and New Mexico; Utah allows driving permits.

Respect was lost for former Republican governor, Jim Edgar, and Republican controller, Judy Baar Topinka, when they joined Gov. Pat Quinn and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel in support of giving driver licenses to illegals. All stood in solidarity at a press conference with the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (ICIRR) on November 20th in Chicago. The plan would allow illegal immigrants to get tested for licenses and buy insurance without facing deportation. Stated was that these licenses could not be used for other purposes, such as boarding a plane or voter identification.

    It is amazing to see Public Sector criminals at work. Being an immigrant who came to America like millions before through the legal process. It is amazing to see that Federal, state and municipal executives (Presidents’, Governors and Mayors) sworn to uphold the law refuse to enforce the nation’s immigration laws making a mockery out of the entire Judicial System and committing felonies that should put them behind bars. Add to this the hundreds of billions in costs that are added to the taxpayers by the illegals that are here in this country. Even more astounding is that the government provides special services for these illegals and certain immigrants such as signage, documents, etc. in their language in order to make their existence here easier. In past English was considered the national language and you were expected to be conversant in order to survive and exist. When I arrived here there was no assistance of any kind nor was there any help in assimilating into this culture even in the schools there was absolutely assistance or additional help from that given to natural Americans. The absurdity of the immigration problem is demonstrated in that the children of illegals are considered different from the parents and somehow deserve to be natural born Americans. This insanity is another demonstration of why America is declining at an ever increasing rate. When the laws of the country no longer uniformly apply to all the citizens and when one class is exempt from the law then the fundamental principles of the US Constitution no longer exists. As we see today the Public Sector no longer seems accountable to the law and the corruption and fraud by them has reached epidemic levels destroying the American Economy and the wealth of the private sector and taxpayers. The licensing issue is just another facet of the Public Sector extending more support to criminals to make their existence easier in order to win their gratitude when they present amnesty to them.
