Why the Common Core State Standards Should Be Stopped

If you want to learn what Common Core is and why many believe it should be stopped here is a 5 part video series.

Stop Common Core, American Principles Project and the Concerned Women of America in Georgia made the following video series on the Common Core State Standards possible. Jane Robbins of American Principles Project gives a broad explanation of the problems of the Common Core. So if you are not sure why the Common Core State Standards are a bad thing, here’s a good place to learn why I and so many others are dead set against their implementation. H/T Caffeinated Thoughts

The Common Core Standards is another means to establish to final phase of a Communistic Government as the control of more and more of the entire Economy and the Republic itself will be “managed” from a central point. We have already seen the loss of the individual Freedoms, Liberties and the US Constitution over the last 50 years. The indoctrination that has occurred in the Public Education System has served this transformation process well. Where today voodoo Science is accepted as fact and the analytic skills of the citizens has been dramatically decreased. The Public Education Systems today are a massive bureaucracy that serves the Government and through their political collusion enriches themselves like that seen in the entire Public Sector. There is a reason that the 23 million millionaires of the Public Sector are by far the largest class of millionaires. There are two solutions that can address this issue: 1) a National Voucher System of $7K per student annually immediately forcing the long over due restructuring of these massively bloated Public Education Bureaucracies reducing their exorbitant cost operations and bringing relief to the oppression of the taxpayers and providing the competition of the better performing Private and Parochial Schools as parents have the choice of the schools for their kids. 2) If we really wanted to bring a World Class Education to the students we would have “Virtual Schools” for all grades Junior High and above and also use this to provide supplemental learning support to the lower grades. Every student would be taught by the “Subject Matter Expert” and would have the competence and understanding measured continuously through thousands of non-repeating exercises and experiments. The grade progression would no longer be based on age or calendar year. This would provide a 21st Century Education at less than present already efficient cost structures seen within the high performing private and parochial systems which average far less than $7K annually. We can see today that neither the State or the Federal Government knows anything about learning and Education and that failure has build a huge Public Sector workforce and positioned the US Education System in the lowest quartile of the leading industrial nations of the World Education rankings.
