Objections To Counting the Nursing Home Vote in Suburban Cook County

Attention to Suburban Cook County Elections and Legal Authorities:

Attached please find a summary of the nursing homes in Suburban Cook County which did not have lawful nursing home voting on Friday. The problem is the two party requirement was not maintained.

Therefore, we are objecting to the counting of these votes until investigations conclude that each vote was cast with a Republican and Democrat election Judge present. If this is not possible, but legal authorities were present during voting, we will consider removing our objection if proof the votes were legally cast is provided.

Our intention is not to disqualify any voters, it is to assure that the votes cast were cast lawfully.

We have the utmost concern for the voting rights and the privacy of the most vulnerable voters in nursing homes.

There are 16 homes involved.

Of these 16 homes

In 6 instances the vote was administered without two party representative – Thus, there is no way the vote was administered lawfully – We seek for these ballots to be re-cast

In 10 instances the ratio of judges is so far off, that it is unlikely the vote could have been administered lawfully. Please confirm the ballots were cast lawfully.

In 9 instances, non-commissioned Republican judges were called Republicans. Many had no record of voting Republican or were “Hard D” and they are not representing the Republican Party. This is clearly unlawful and must be stopped!

Our investigators have had considerable difficulty in getting accurate data from Suburban Cook County. We believe this to be based on the latest data sent to me by Noah. The Republican Commissioned Judges (10/31/12) and the Nursing Home Judges (11/01/12 )

I am deeply concerned about the integrity of the Nursing Home Residents vote and demand immediate intervention to protect these votes.

The nursing home vote is one of the most important votes. Residents are easily susceptible to vote manipulation. When Suburban Cook County fails to secure that each vote is administered in front of two judges (a Republican and a Democrat) as required by law, these votes are threatened.
