The state has among the worst— if not the worst — credit ratings in the nation. We’re drowning in debt, with more to come, and the state (meaning you) owing at least $85 billion in unfunded pension liabilities. You can count on taxes going up in a post-election deal that’s likely to include more casino gambling and even more power for the boss.
You know who the boss is, don’t you?
House Speaker Michael Madigan.
He’s the alpha Democrat, lord of the state Democratic Party, puppet master of the Cook County Democrats, boss of judges high and low, boss of the legislature, of laws and regulations, boss of everything, decade after decade after decade. He dictates tax policy, yet has made a fortune in his private law business, reducing the taxes of the powerful real estate interests. He’s installed his daughter, Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan, as the top law enforcement officer in the state.
The corruption and fraud in the Public Sector is beyond just Madigan and the Democrats it is present throughout both parties. All one has to examine is there local operations and it is clear that the millionaire Public Sector Pension fraud, the 50% over staffing and compensation is unsustainable and is never going to be reformed from the inside as all the Politicians and their allies benefit from this fraud. The resolution will come soon as total default will resolve this issue both at the state, local and Federal levels. The fraud is depriving the private sector of its vital resources and killing any growth. The violation of basic law prevent the establishment of small, competitive businesses that foster growth and expansion. Today we have a total debt in excess of $16 Trillion plus another $3 Trillion at the Fed and running continuous deficits in the trillions and the Public Sector cost over $7 Trillion annually and has put a $50 Trillion obligation on the taxpayers for the millionaire Pension Plans. All one needs to examine is any Public Sector Labor Agreement and see the extent of the fraud with pay scales and raises that have no basis in function or responsibility and a 40% inflation of the final pension payout in the last years. Examine the dysfunctional Public School System and see the same Public Sector fraud in operation where costs over 100% more than exists for a superb education system in the private or parochial area. There are several actions that can arrest the corruption here 1) all Public Sector Labor Agreements are approved at the ballot box and 2) the Education costs is based on a $7K per child Voucher System that provides parents with choice and forces financial management of the system. The facts are clear that it will require major restructuring and reform of the Public Sector in order to prevent bankruptcy of the US at all levels. The #1 problem in the US is not entitlements as claimed by your Politicians but rather their greed and that of the Public Sector millionaires as they are robbing and raping you while destroying the economic system of the entire nation. If this was the 17th Century the streets would already by filled with Patriots and Paul Revere would be riding through the streets “yelling the criminals” are here…
